A bit of history

Southbroom history dates back to1884 when an English missionary, Alfred Eyles, established a Mission for the Society of Friends called Imbizane. Thereafter, his sons, Gilbert and Frank Eyles, showing vision and preservation of the landscape, set about establishing today’s residential township putting it apart from neighbouring towns.
